After 16 MLS seasons, Revolution goalkeeper Matt Reis is retiring.

After enduring several seasons of injuries that diminished his playing time, and going through a person tragedy associated with the Boston Marathon bombing, New England Revolution goalkeeper Matt Reis has decided to retire from professional soccer after a 16-year career in Major League Soccer.
