Meet the Candidates, and Vote!


Boston College senior Zeiko Lewis is one of three nominees for the New England Soccer News menís college player of the year and the Soccer News Net Menís College Boot, recognizing the national player of the year.

Lewis, named All-Atlantic Coast Conference First Team this season after thrice making the second team, led BC with seven goals (three game-winners) and five assists. Lewis showed the way as BC (9-9-3) finished strong, scoring all four Eagle goals in the post-season, including two game-winners and the game-tying score in a penalty kick win over Virginia Tech.

Lewis, a member of the Bermuda national team, concluded his collegiate career with 18 goals, ninth on the all-time BC list, and 26 assists, tied with Louis Papadellis for first.

Lewis, named to the NSCAA All-South Region first team, was an NSCAA second team All-South Atlantic Region choice as a freshman and the first Eagle to be named ACC freshman of the year.

Lewis, who has been invited to the MLS Player Combine, was named the New England Soccer News Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 6.

Fan voting accounts for 40% of the total toward selection of the Soccer News Net College Boot, and the winner of the popular voting receives the Soccer News Net Supportersí Choice award.
