BYU senior defender Lindsi Lisonbee Cutshall is one of nine at-large nominees for the Soccer News Net Women’s College Boot, recognizing the national player of the year.

Cutshall, of Park City, Utah (Park City HS/Black Diamond), is one of the West Coast Conference’s toughest defenders, and the first BYU student-athlete to be recognized as WCC Player of the Year. She also is one of three finalists for the MAC Hermann Trophy and a First Team NSCAA All-America selection. After tying Santa Clara in the conference opener, the Cougars reeled off seven straight WCC wins to capture the conference championship for the first time in school history. Cutshall anchored a Cougars defense that allowed just four goals during conference play, and 13 overall in 24 games. She helped out on offense with three goals and two assists.

Fan voting accounts for 40% of the total toward selection of the Soccer News Net College Boot. Voting for the College Boot is open through December 22.
