NSCAA MEN'S PRE-SEASON RANKINGS
UConn ranked 4th, BC 14, Brown 22nd
KANSAS CITY, Kan. Reigning Division I men's national champion North Carolina sit in the top spot of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America NCAA Division I Men's College Preseason Rankings, after finishing 21-2-3 overall in 2011.
Both UCLA and Creighton (Neb.) move up a spot from the 2011 postseason poll to No. 2 and 3, respectively. Rounding out the preseason Top 5 are Connecticut and South Florida.
UConn, which finished last season ranked fifth, moved up a spot to fourth.Boston College also moved up a spot, while Brown dropped to 22.
The first ranking of the 2012 men's regular season will be released August 28.
