NSCAA WOMEN'S POLL
Stanford at the top, Boston College #10
KANSAS CITY, Kan. -Stanford starts the year at the top spot in the first NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division I Women's poll of the 2012 regular season.
The defending national champions opened the season with a dominating 6-1 win over Santa Clara. Duke opens the season at the No. 2 spot with its 2-0-0 record, followed by Florida State, which jumped from its preseason No. 4 spot to the third spot in this week's rankings.
Oklahoma State (2-0-0) and UCLA (1-0-0) each move up one spot from the preseason poll to round out this week's Top 5
The next women's poll will be available next Tuesday, Aug. 28, along with the first regular season rankings for NCAA Division I men.
