MEN'S PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Dartmouth’s Colin Skelly
Dartmouth junior midfielder Colin Skelly has been named the New England Soccer News Men’s College Player of the Week for the week ending November 11.
Skelly scored with .01 second left in the first overtime to lift the Big Green over Brown 2-1 at Burnham Field on Friday, handing the Bears their first Ivy League loss of the season.
The game was tied 1-1 at the end of regulation, and appeared headed to a second overtime when a cross from senior Kevin Dzierzawski landed in the box. The ball bounced around and Skelly, streaking into the box caught it and put it past Brown’s Sam Kernan-Schloss, as time expired.
