Mountaineers shutout Friars 3-0
Morgantown, W.Va. – The No. 20 West Virginia Mountaineers handed Providence College a 3-0 loss in the regular season finale Saturday. With the loss, the Friars finished in fourth place of the Big East Blue Division with a 9-6-2 overall record and a 5-4-2 mark in the Big East. West Virginia finished one spot ahead of the Friars in third place with a 12-5-1 overall mark, including 7-3-1 in the Big East.
