WOMEN'S PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Connecticut Jennifer Skogerboe

Connecticut junior Jennifer Skogerboe is the New England Soccer News Women's College Player of the Week for the week ending August 19.

Skogerboe helped lead the Huskies to a 4-2 comeback win over Vermont on Sunday.

With Vermont leading 1-0, Skogerboe scored the equalizer in the 32nd minute. Then, with the Huskies up 3-2, she added an insurance goal in the 70th minute, capping off a wild 40-second stretch that saw Vermont score once, and UConn come back and score two more.
