BURLINGTON, Vt. -- The University of Vermont announced four newcomers to the women's program Friday. Coach Kristi Lefebvre said Christina Barry (Apple Valley, Minn.), Megan Frost (Ottawa, Ontario), Bridgette King (Freehold, N.J.) and Julia Smith (Norcoss, Ga.) will join the Catamounts next season.

Canadian junior forward Brian Wright has been igniting the Vermont Catamountsí offense with a combination of skill and speed all season. And Wright saved some of his best performances for a late-season run. Wright extended his goal-scoring streak to three games as the Catamounts clinched the America East Conference title on the final day of the regular season and took semifinal and final wins in the conference tournament.
