NEW YORK---For the second day in a row, inclement weather has stopped the Major League Soccer negotiating crew from traveling to Washington, D.C. to continue negotiations with the MLS players union, league spokesman said.

It is not known when talks will begin again or whether Friday's Collective Bargaining Agreement deadline between the two groups will be extended a second time.

The CBA ran out on Jan. 31, but was extended through Friday. The original CBA deal was a five-year agreement.

MLS commissioner Don Garber, president Mark Abbott and several league representatives were scheduled to travel to Washington, D.C. to meet with union officials.
