FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The seemingly on again off again saga of the New England Revolution's Colombian forward Jose Moreno is now off again.

The club waived the 30 year old on Monday.
Moreno made seven appearances and scored one goal for the Revolution after joining the team in March on loan from Colombia’s Once Caldas.

It more than a month between the time the club acquired Moreno and when he actually reported to the team, owing in part to paperwork snafus in Colombia, however at the time there were a variety of reports indicating he was not planning on joining the team.

Once he finally joined the team after opening day, he only played in seven games, scoring one goal on April 14 against D.C. United. Moreno’s last appearance came on June 16, when he played 45 minutes before coming off with an ankle sprain.
