Bengtson returns from London, called for friendly
Following a three-week stint with the Honduran Olympic Team as one of its over-aged players, Jerry Bengtson returned to the Revolution late last week after a return home from London via Honduras to complete some immigration paperwork
In his first Revolution appearance since July 14, Bengtson made his first career MLS start, playing 45 minutes against Montreal In London, Bengtson started four matches and recorded three goals for Honduras
But his stay in Foxborough was a brief one. He departed Monday morning for Miami where he will meet up with the Honduras National Team for its exhibition against Argentine club power Boca Juniors on Wednesday.
He is expected to return to Foxborough on Thursday following the game and be available for selection on Saturday at Chicago. Bengtson has 22 caps for Honduras, scoring eight goals with the senior team
