MORE TICKETS AVAILABLE
For supporters in U.S. fan section at WC

CHICAGO---U.S. Soccer announced Wednesday that there will be an additional sales phase of World Cup tickets for matches involving the U.S. National Team from Feb. 9 to April 7.

With the opening of the World Cup in South Africa growing closer, the organizers are making more tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability, for U.S. citizens and residents interested in sitting in USA fan sections.

The Americans have been drawn into Group C with England, Slovenia and Algeria. The U.S. will open its sixth consecutive World Cup finals tournament against England in Rustenburg June 12, and will follow that game with matches against Slovenia in Johannesburg June 18 and Algeria in Tshwane/Pretoria June 23.

FIFA’s ticket sales regulations will apply to all orders. Ticket requestors are required to provide detailed information about the identities of each person using each ticket, including passport number.

A household may apply for tickets to up to seven matches across the entire tournament and no more than four tickets for any single match. These limits apply to all phases of FIFA’s ticketing process, including those phases already completed. More information on FIFA’s ticket sales process is available at http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/organisation/ticketing/index.html

U.S. Soccer will post a direct link from ussoccer.com to the order form page once it becomes available from FIFA.
