CLARK OUT
U.S. midfielder sidelined up to 4 weeks

U.S. international midfielder Ricardo Clark has been sidelined as much as four weeks after he pulled a muscle in his right calf with Eintracht Frankfurt.

The injury put the former MetroStars and Houston Dynamo midfielder in doubt for the U.S.-Netherlands match in Amsterdam on March 3.

Clark hasn't played since signing with Eintracht Frankfurt in January. Coach Michael Skibbe said Clark needed several weeks to find his fitness.

Clark joined several U.S. teammates on the sidelines, including starters Oguchi Onyewu, Clint Dempsey, Charlie Davies and Steve Cherundolo.

It's a good thing that the World Cup is four months away and coach Bob Bradley doesn't have to pick a team right now, although his options of looking at players is getting slimmer.
